I am Rebecca Turner, a freelance charity fundraiser, campaigner and bid writer specialising in well researched written funding proposals.  I have also carved out a niche for myself as specialist copywriter with a particular talent for cases for support.  I am available on short assignments, open-ended contract, or for major appeals and projects.

With twenty years’ experience in the voluntary sector I’ve pitched, won and managed everything from major corporate partnerships, large scale events, to high level donor recruitment and winning bids to trusts and foundations – raising £6m in cash and in-kind benefits for good causes to date.

My work is underpinned by my excellent writing skills and passion for good communication – producing winning pitches, applications, and persuasive copy that create revenue.  To put it another way, I write good stuff.

I have a natural flair for campaigns (give me a cause and I can work out how to win it!), networking, project management and organisation, and I’m ideally suited to take on a one off piece of work, help you out with some fundraising overflow during a busy period, work with you as your long term bid writer, or generally partner with you to help you get things going the right way.
