WRITE GOOD STUFF
Rebecca Turner
Freelance fundraiser & bid writer
Work History
I am an experienced senior fundraiser, with a solid voluntary sector work history. I have a proven track record of exceeding targets; having raised over £6m for good causes in cash and in-kind benefits. I am a firm believer that fundraising is not ‘difficult’ or ‘mysterious’ – it is just organised common sense. Half the battle is keeping good records, and reading the small print, charities waste so much time (and resources) chasing after donors who clearly state they won't support their type of cause or project, or by failing to provide the information that grant givers clearly say they need.

My solid administration and project management skills, and my down to earth, roll your sleeves up style, means I just get organised and crack on with the job of raising money - which I hope is reassuring for smaller organisations who perhaps feel overwhelmed by the prospect of fundraising.
I have particular capabilities in corporate and trust fundraising, event and project management as well as high level donor recruitment, although the bulk of my freelance work these days is bid writing for small organisations looking to increase their revenue from trusts and foundations. I've worked for a variety of third sector organisations both large and small. To see a full copy of my CV please contact me. You can also look me up on Linkedin here. Below is a sample of some of clients I've worked with, and the projects I've won and managed:
